1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Taillo. By accessing, browsing, or registering as a Taillo member, and when you begin to browse the Taillo website or use the services of the Taillo mobile application (App) (collectively, “Taillo” or “we”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use and the terms and conditions set out below.

2. Changes to the Terms

Taillo reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Any revised or updated Terms of Use will be posted on this page. Users are advised to review the latest version of the Terms of Use each time they use Taillo. Your continued use of Taillo constitutes your deemed acceptance of the revised terms and conditions. If you do not agree to any changes to these Terms of Use, you should immediately cease using Taillo’s services.

These Terms are in addition to the license agreement entered into between the user and the application store or distribution platform, including Google Play and the App Store. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these Terms shall prevail.

3. Use of Services and Registration

If you wish to use any member services or purchase any products or services on Taillo, you must register a member account with Taillo in order to use Taillo’s services. You must provide all required information in all online and offline registration forms and other documents submitted to Taillo, and such information must be accurate, current, and complete. You shall be solely responsible for any information submitted, and you are also responsible for updating such information from time to time to ensure it remains current. Taillo reserves the absolute discretion to refuse registration or cancel any Taillo account.

You must keep your Taillo account login credentials and other registration information confidential and secure. If your password or information is used or accessed by any person without your authorization, you agree to notify Taillo immediately. Taillo will take such actions as it considers appropriate to safeguard its security and integrity, including but not limited to monitoring and recording internet activity and network addresses, verifying user information, and tracing data flows.

If Taillo discovers that a user has provided false or inaccurate information, or that a user has registered more than one account on the Taillo mobile application using the same device, or has otherwise registered more than one account, Taillo reserves all rights, including the right to immediately terminate the membership, cancel and delete all Taillo accounts, suspend duplicate or violating Taillo accounts, and cancel some or all earned U Fun and redeemed benefits and exclusive features, without further notice to the member.

4. Content Posting

4.1 Copyright in User Content

You understand and acknowledge that Taillo may allow you to post or transmit, upload, input, submit, store, send, or receive content through Taillo, including information, data, text, numbers, images, photographs, software, music, tags, videos, messages, films, and/or other materials (collectively, “User Content”). You agree that when you upload, input, submit, store, or transmit User Content to Taillo, you grant Taillo a royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, re-post, edit, adapt, create derivative works from, distribute, publish, publicly display, and disseminate such User Content by any means or channels, without prior notice to you. You further agree that if your User Content is selected for use, the copyright in such content shall be wholly owned by Taillo. If you do not agree to the above, you should immediately stop posting or publishing any User Content on Taillo and cease using Taillo’s services.

4.2 Content Posting Rules

Taillo has the absolute discretion to, without necessarily giving you notice, terminate your access to, browsing of, or use of the Service, or terminate your Taillo account and related benefits, in the event of any breach of the following or for any other reason, without any legal liability or recourse to you.

• Content must not contain profanity, obscenity, vulgarity, abuse, or discriminatory language or images.
• Content must not include personal attacks; please respect every commenter.
• Impersonation of others or unauthorized use of accounts is strictly prohibited.
• Posting content containing viruses or other harmful software is strictly prohibited.
• Providing pirated software or infringing content for download is strictly prohibited.
• Posting private information of others or yourself, including photos, telephone numbers, and addresses, is strictly prohibited.
• Unauthorized reproduction of content from other magazines or websites is strictly prohibited.
• Posting any direct or indirect advertising content without prior consent is strictly prohibited.
• All content represents the personal views of the commenter and does not reflect the position of this site.
• If any person engages in any unlawful or suspected unlawful conduct on this site, including defamation or infringement, the site will, upon request, provide the offender’s information for future legal action.
• The site reserves the right to remove any content on the site without notice.
• Transactions are prohibited unless our prior written consent has been obtained. No user may conduct, or use any part of Taillo to conduct, any commercial or other transactions. Any transaction authorized by us and carried out in accordance with the relevant procedural terms shall at all times comply with those terms and with the specific terms and conditions of our relevant contracts, agreements, and authorizations.

Posting, publishing, or disseminating any content or information that violates or contravenes the laws, ordinances, or regulations currently in force in Hong Kong is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

• Under Part IV of the Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (Cap. 371), no person may display or arrange for the display, or publish or distribute for display purposes, any form of tobacco advertising. Tobacco advertising is also prohibited in printed publications, public places, films, and on the internet. Please refer to the Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (Cap. 371) for details.
• Under the Undesirable Medical Advertisements Ordinance (Cap. 231), it is prohibited to publish advertisements or content harmful to public health. Please refer to the laws of Hong Kong (Cap. 231) for details.
• Under the Dutiable Commodities (Amendment) Ordinance 2018 (Cap. 109), no person may, in the course of business, sell or supply intoxicating liquor to minors. Where intoxicating liquor is sold or supplied remotely, such as via the internet or telephone, the prescribed notice must be displayed in a reasonably legible manner in the online store, or its contents must be read out before the sale of such liquor. Please refer to the Dutiable Commodities (Amendment) Ordinance 2018 (Cap. 109) for details.
• Under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, the maximum penalty for trafficking, including import and export, and manufacturing controlled substances is life imprisonment and a fine of HK$5,000,000. The maximum penalty for possession and consumption of controlled substances under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance is imprisonment for seven years and a fine of HK$1,000,000. Controlled substances include products containing cannabis, such as cannabidiol (CBD), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabinol (CBN), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and/or their derivatives, opiates, and other prohibited drug products. Please refer to the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Cap. 134) for details.

5. Payment, Order Confirmation and Voucher Use or Redemption

5.1 Payment

All product prices on Taillo are quoted in Hong Kong dollars. Goods or services are available for delivery within Hong Kong only, unless otherwise stated by the merchant. You agree to pay for your order using the payment methods provided by us, and acknowledge that Taillo is under no obligation to process or fulfill any order until payment has been successfully completed.

5.2 Order Confirmation

Upon successful completion of payment, you will receive an order confirmation by email containing the order number and order details, confirming that we have accepted your order. Orders will be confirmed within 2 business days.

5.3 Use or Redemption of Vouchers

Vouchers will be automatically stored in the “My e-Vouchers” section of the Taillo App, and each voucher will specify the redemption or usage details. You must redeem the voucher in accordance with the merchant’s instructions. The merchant may require you to provide supporting documents at the time of redemption, such as personal information, order number, and redemption voucher. If you fail to provide the required documentation, fail to redeem within the validity period, or are otherwise ineligible for redemption, the merchant may refuse to provide the service without any refund. For offers shipped directly by the merchant, you must ensure that the order information provided is accurate and complete, and you voluntarily assume all risks of loss or damage arising from incorrect information or postal delivery. Taillo and the merchant shall have no obligation to provide compensation or replacement. If you have any questions regarding the details of services provided by the merchant, you may contact the merchant directly or make an enquiry with Taillo.

5.4 Additional Charges

You understand and agree that certain services offered by merchants may, depending on the circumstances, incur additional charges, which may need to be paid directly to the merchant. Taillo requires merchants to provide the latest and most accurate information regarding their products or services, including but not limited to pricing, usage conditions, and product or service descriptions. We endeavor to ensure the accuracy of all descriptions displayed on Taillo, but we cannot guarantee that the content displayed on Taillo will always be accurate.

5.5 Failure to Use or Redemption

If you have followed the instructions and attempted to use or redeem a voucher with a merchant but are ultimately unable to complete the redemption or use, please contact us by email at service@mounrary.com. We will attempt to contact the merchant in order to seek a resolution.

5.6 Lost Vouchers

If a voucher is lost or damaged, neither Taillo nor the merchant shall be liable, and no refund shall be provided.

5.7 Price and Information Changes

Taillo reserves the right to change the prices of goods and other information at any time. Any changes will be updated directly on this page without further notice. If you continue to make purchases after such changes, you are deemed to have agreed to and accepted the revised charges. Products and prices are subject to the information and pricing applicable at the time of the actual transaction.

6. Returns and Refunds Policy

6.1 Refunds Due to Merchant Reasons

If a product or service purchased by you is cancelled by the merchant, Taillo will notify you as soon as possible and will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 14 business days. If the purchased product or service is affected by other circumstances, we will contact the merchant to extend the redemption period, issue a full refund, or discuss the latest arrangement, and notify the purchaser by email.

Taillo shall not be responsible for the quality, post-use effects, usage, customer experience, safety, or terms of service of any offer, product, or service provided by a merchant, and no refund will be issued on such grounds. You agree to seek recourse directly from the merchant.

If a merchant fails to perform its obligations due to bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, dissolution, or liquidation, including but not limited to the foregoing, or if such failure is caused by the bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, dissolution, or liquidation of its service providers, you agree that you may seek compensation only from that merchant.

6.2 Refund Requests by Users

If you wish to apply for a refund after purchase, you must provide a reasonable ground and relevant proof and email your request to service@mounrary.com within 7 days from the payment date. Taillo will contact the merchant based on the reason provided. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we regret that we are unable to arrange cancellation or modification of any confirmed order after payment has been completed.

7. Third-Party Websites and Transactions

Taillo uses third-party payment service providers to process online transactions. By purchasing products or services, you agree to and accept their terms and conditions, and your payment information will be collected, processed, and retained by the payment service provider. If any loss arises in the course of a transaction, you agree and accept that Taillo shall not be liable for any such loss under any circumstances.

We do not collect or retain users’ credit card details. If you choose to save your credit card details for express checkout, you agree and accept that such information will be encrypted and retained by the third-party payment service provider.

8. Privacy Policy

Taillo is committed to protecting and safeguarding users’ personal data and undertakes to fully implement and comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to protect your privacy rights. Users are required to agree to and comply with the terms of the Privacy Policy; please contact us to read Taillo’s Privacy Policy in full.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1

All intellectual property rights relating to Taillo are owned by or licensed to Taillo for use on Taillo’s website and mobile applications. Users agree to comply with all intellectual property laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“HKSAR”) (the “IP Laws”). Users shall not engage in any activity that violates the IP Laws or infringes any intellectual property rights and/or other proprietary rights in any material on Taillo, nor any activity that would cause such rights to be infringed. Users also agree not to link any part of Taillo to any website that may engage in such infringing activities. Such activities include: infringement of any party’s copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights (“IP Rights”); violation of any measures protecting IP Rights, including tampering with serial numbers or registration numbers, or using hacking tools; copying, extracting, or using the content of another webpage in any manner without authorization or consent; and providing pirated files or links to such files.

If it is discovered that a user has violated the IP Laws or engaged in infringing activities, Taillo shall have the right, without prior notice and without any legal liability or recourse to you, to remove any post, content, or material that it considers to be infringing or otherwise in breach of the terms, insofar as it relates to the IP Laws or IP Rights; and to terminate the user’s registration or account and consider taking appropriate legal action.

9.2

The content of the Service, including this website, is intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use. All materials made available on the Service, including but not limited to text, photographs, images, illustrations, designs, audio clips, video clips, the look and feel, metadata, data, or compilations (the “Content”), are protected by copyright and are owned or controlled by Taillo or the content providers.

Taillo also owns the copyright in the selection, coordination, compilation, and improvement of such Content (the “Arrangement”). You shall comply with any additional copyright notices or restrictions contained in any Content obtained through the Service. Non-commercial use does not include, without Taillo’s prior written consent, use of the Content for the following purposes: (1) developing any software program, including but not limited to training machine learning or artificial intelligence (AI) systems; or (2) providing archives or cached datasets containing the Content to any person or organization.

9.3

You shall not access or use, or attempt to access or use, the Service for any conduct that may harm us or any third party. You must not, in using the Service, violate any applicable laws, including but not limited to infringing our or any third party’s intellectual property or other ownership or legal rights. You further agree not to attempt (or encourage or support any other person to attempt) to circumvent, reverse engineer, decrypt, or otherwise alter or interfere with the Service or any content, data, or materials of the Service, or to use the Service without authorization. Without Taillo’s prior written consent, you must not:

• access any part of the Service, content, data, or materials for which you do not have permission or authorization, or for which Taillo has revoked your access rights;
• use robots, web spiders, scripts, services, software, or any manual or automated device, tool, or process to conduct data mining or scrape content, data, or information from the Service, or to use, access, or collect the Service content, data, or information in an automated manner;
• use the Content to develop any software program, including but not limited to training machine learning or artificial intelligence (AI) systems;
• use the Service, software, or any manual or automated device, tool, or process to circumvent any restriction, condition, or technical measure on access to the Service, including bypassing any security feature or circumventing any access control or usage restriction;
• cache or store Content, except where public search engines use web spiders to create search indexes;
• impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our network or servers; or
• engage in any conduct that may disable, damage, or alter the functionality or appearance of the Service, including the display of advertisements.

9.4

Violation of the restrictions on use of the Service may result in civil, criminal, and/or administrative proceedings, penalties, fines, or sanctions against the user and any person assisting the user.

10. Governing Law and General Terms

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and both users and Taillo agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
